The Board of Trustees and Women’s Committee of Arts for the Aging were pleased to announce the 23rd Annual Benefit Gala, hosted by Honorary Gala Chairs, His Excellency Jean-Paul Senninger, the Ambassador of Luxembourg, and Mrs. Louise Åkerblom.

The Gala was held at the Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg at 2200 Massachusetts Avenue, N.W., near Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C. It was a black-tie formal affair with an exquisite buffet prepared by the Embassy, a wonderful array of wines, live and silent auctions and included a presentation of the 4th Annual Lolo Sarnoff Award for Outstanding Vision and Creativity to Dr. Dorothy Kosinski, Director of the Phillips Collection.

This year’s Gala Co-Chairs were Dr. Joyce S. Hagel-Silverman and Mrs. Susanne Eisinger.

Arts for the Aging on Friday October 8, 2010 at the elegant Washington Golf and Country Club.

It was an evening of dinner and dancing, featuring internationally renowned singer Jerome Barry, winner of the Third Annual Lolo Sarnoff Award, as well as a fabulous silent and live auction.

The event raised funds that will support 200 arts outreach programs, impacting 800 older adults throughout the metropolitan Washington D.C. area.

Congratulations and many thanks to so many of you who made it possible!
